In the Muscadet Sèvre-et-Maine appellation, the Ferme des Confluences is at the heart of Muscadet, located in the commune of Saint-Fiacre-sur-Maine, between the banks of the Sèvre and Maine rivers.
The entire estate is situated on the Armorican massif. A part of the estate is located on granodiorite (Château-Thébaud cru), on the high cliffs of Pont-Caffino. Another part is situated on the gneiss of Saint-Fiacre-sur-Maine (Monnières – Saint-Fiacre cru), on the Gras Moutons hill.
We cultivate Melon de Bourgogne, Folle Blanche, Chardonnay, Côt, and Egiodola using organic farming practices. We employ Guyot pruning, debudding, soil tilling, and the harvests are manual. The planting density is 7,000 vines per hectare, and the yields range from 30 to 50 hl/ha.

Pont-Caffino

My vineyard project is rooted in the desire to develop a resilient estate, adapted to our times and in harmony with the current context. For me, respecting the earth and organic farming are essential starting points. I am committed to enhancing exceptional terroirs and extracting wines that can evoke emotions true to their origin, but also have the desire to evolve the estate by trying to diversify grape varieties, crops, farming methods, all while adopting a collaborative approach at every step by working with people, nature, plots, and the seasons.

The estate is operated using organic farming methods, with a priority given to vineyard work, aiming to obtain healthy and high-quality grapes that fully express their terroir.
The soil is cultivated, we practice Guyot Poussard pruning and bud thinning, the harvests are done by hand, and we minimize the use of farm machinery as much as possible.

We accompany the fermentations as simply as possible; they take place under controlled temperature, with indigenous yeasts and the year's starter culture.
We minimize the use of inputs throughout the winemaking and aging of the wines. The wines are aged in underground and above-ground fiberglass and stainless steel tanks. We also use barrels from the Atelier Centre France. Bottling is done without fining or filtration.
